Janet A. (Damon) Valley age 87 of Salem, NH, died Friday at the Salemhaven Nursing Home, Salem, NH.
She was born in Barton, VT, where she grew up and attended schools. She was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 71 years.
Mrs. Valley worked as a kitchen server for the Sisters of Mercy in Windham, NH. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem, NH. She enjoyed gardening, and mostly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her Husband Harry P. Valley. She was also predeceased by a son Alton C. Valley.
She is survived by 1 Daughter: Harriet Kelleher of Salem, NH

2 Sisters: Florence Marcou of CT

5 Grandchildren: Janet Ouellette, James Kelleher, Judy Moore, Gary Valley, & Alton Valley

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Feb. 13 from 9-11 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
