Judy Ann (Campo) Knowlton, 61, of 14 Long Pond Road South, Ledyard, passed away Friday morning at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.
She was born in New London on June 17, 1945 the daughter of Clifton Campo Sr. and Hulda I. (Williams) Campo of Ledyard. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Norwich Free Academy.
Judy was employed as an Interior Tech Crew Boss for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe for 15 years before retiring last August due to her illness.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Richard W. Knowlton whom she married in Palermo, ME in 1979; a brother, Joseph Campo and his wife Kim, Ledyard CT; her children, Todd A. Martin of Ledyard, Tammy Birkbeck and husband Gary of Thorndike ME,
Thomas Martin Jr. and wife Ellie of South Liberty ME, Theresa Butler and husband Jim of Liberty ME, and Sheila Fountain and husband Steve of Warren MA; her grandchildren,
Crystal, Suzie, Jarred, Kurtis, Stacey, Mike, Zack, Jeremy, Garrett, and Alexandria. She was predeceased by her brother, Clifton "Sam" Campo Jr. She will also be missed by family and close friends, especially Mary and Cherie.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at The Old Mystic Baptist Church, Shewville Rd, Old Mystic on Monday at 1pm. Burial will be private. There are no visiting hours.
