WORCESTER-Christo Pappa, 70 of 1011 Pleasant Street died Monday, October 21st in Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Nursing Home after an illness. His wife, Vjollca (Tugu) Pappa predeceased him. He leaves a son, Igli Pappa of Worcester; a daughter, Anastasia Gorenxa of Worcester; 2 brothers, Dhimostenis Pappa of Greece and Nichola Pappa of Miami, FL; a sister, Afrodhiti Llapa of Greece; 4 grandchildren and nephews and nieces.
He was born in Albania son of Nichola and Anastasia Pappa. Mr. Pappa was a chemical engineer for many years in Albania before retiring.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 23rd at 1:15 PM in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 22nd from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue
