TEWKSBURY - Marion F. McGrath, R.N., 89, died Saturday, Oct. 19, at the TewksburyHospital after a lengthy illness. She was wife of the late John F. McGrath.
She was born in Troy, NY, on Nov. 17, 1912, and raised in Saratoga, NY. She lived the greaterpart of her life in Medford, and retired to New Smyna Beach in 1966. She returned to Malden in1991, and had been in residence at Tewksbury Hospital for the last 7 years.
She was employed as a Registered Nurse at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford.
Mrs. McGrath will be fondly remembered as having devoted her life to her family and nursing.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Patricia and her husband Michael Tangusso ofTewksbury, Joan and her husband William McNeil of Malden, four grandchildren, Laura Mooneyand Mark Tangusso of NH, Joseph Mainey of Malden, Michael Tangusso of Tewksbury, and fivegreat grandchildren, Alyssa, Caitlin, Mark, Nicholas, and Brenden.
A Memorial service was held Wednesday , Oct. 23, in the Funeral Home.
