Sebastian Ternullo, Of Medford formerly of the West End of Boston, passed away February 5, at age 85. He was born in Augusta, Sicily, Italy and resided in Massachusetts since 1951.
Sebastian was retired from Northeastern University and worked on boats for most of his life. At Northeastern University, he repaired scullboats and traveled with the rowing team. Upon retirement, a boat was named after him, the “Sebastian”.
Beloved husband of Domenica (Tringali) for 61 years. Devoted father of daughters Marie Ternullo Lee of Marrero, LA, Annette Ternullo Herndon of Las Vegas, NV and Laura Ternullo of Medford. Also survived by grandchildren Stefanie Lee Meric and Robert Lee. A great grandson Reed Meric. As well as a brother Philip Ternullo of Stoneham and step sister Grace Foniri and a number of loving nieces and nephews.
Late member of the Italian Mariner's Club and the Augusta Boston Club.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, 175 Broadway, Malden, at 11:30 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Services will conclude with entombment in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
