METHUEN – Eileen E. (Trainor) Joyce age 78 died Sunday January 28, 2007 at Caritas Holy Family Hospital.
Born and educated in Banbridge County Down, Northern Ireland, she moved to the United States making her home in Methuen, MA, where she attended St. Lucy’s Church. For a number of years she was employed at the Holy Family Hospital where she was a housekeeper. Her family was the most important part of her life, spending quality time with them.
The widow of Patrick J. Joyce, she leaves her 6 children, Eileen Fullen and her husband Joe of Pittsfield, NH, Maeve Joyce of Methuen, MA, Erin Abdulla and her husband Paul of Salem, NH, Sean Joyce of Manchester, NH, Martin Joyce and his wife Susan and Peter Joyce all of Methuen, MA.
3 sisters Molly Bogdan of Methuen, MA, and Isabel McCaffery and Winnifred Ganley both of Banbridge, Northern Ireland.
1 sister-in-law Tonie Trainor of Billerica, MA.
3 grandchildren Jacqueline, Colleen and Kristen Abdulla all of Salem, NH.
Several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to Boston Catholic Television Center 55 Chapel Street Newtonville, MA 02460-9109. Family and friends may call on Thursday 4:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9:00a.m. at St. Lucy’s Church in Methuen, MA. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem, NH.
