Ann Nolan Patterson, 77, of Columbia, South Carolina, died Monday, January 29, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, February 1, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla, with Rev. David West and Rev. Dan O’Connell officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 until 8, Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Ms. Patterson was born August 16, 1929 in Berrien County to the late Joseph and Emma Gray Nolan. She grew up in Irwin County, graduating from Irwin County High School in 1946. Ms. Patterson moved to Tifton in 2006 from Columbia, SC and was a former resident of Greenville, SC. She was a graduate of Georgia Business College in Atlanta. Ms. Patterson was a former secretary for Cooper Motor Line and Belk’s Department Store. She was a member of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by three sisters, Lois Milton West of Rincon, GA, Laura Boatwright of Jacksonville, FL and Dot Lind of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steve Patterson and four brothers.
