Obituary

Edward D. Inserra, a well known Medford businessman, died Wednesday evening at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center, of Medford, the husband of Irene M. (Ewins) he was eighty one years old.

A life long Medford resident “Eddy” as he was affectionately known by his friends and family was the owner of Eddy Sign and Manufacturing Company of Medford. He recently retired and enjoyed being with his family and especialy his grandchildren.

He was a life time member of the Medford Boat Club, the Arlington Mens Club and VFW Post 1012 of Medford and a active member in the New England Sign Association.

Surviving in addition to his wife Irene are two sons, Edward R. of Boxborough and Robert W. of Litchfiled NH., two daughters, Joyce I. Inserra of Londonderry, NH., and Janis A. Inserra of Amesbury. Seven loving grandchildren and one loving great grandson.

He was predeceased by his three brothers, Dr. Frank, Vincent and Louis Inserra.

His funeral will be held form the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford on Monday at 10 a.m.followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church 118 High St. Medford at 11.

Realtives and friends are respectfully invited to attend, and may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 thru 8.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
