Obituary

Kenneth J. McKay,75, of Magnum Court in Smithfield, died Wednesday at home. He was the husband of Ann V. (Graham) McKay. They were married for 48 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Robert J. and Eva C. (Donovan) McKay, he lived in Smithfield for most of his life.
Mr. McKay was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was teacher for 24 years for the City of Providence and taught at the Nathaniel Greene School retiring in 1989. He was the owner of Mac Tree Service for 25 years retiring in 1998. He was a member of the St. Philip Church Men’s Club.
He is also survived by his children, Mark K. McKay of Burrillville, Katherine E. Bywell of Swansea, Scott D. McKay of Burrillville and Paul P. McKay of Smithfield; six grandchildren and a niece and nephew. He was the grandfather of the late Allanah K. McKay and brother of the late Robert J. and Eugene T. McKay.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday at 11:00 am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828. Visitation is respectfully omitted.
