Obituary

Woonsocket –Alma Toupin, 103, formerly of Bernon St., Woonsocket, died Monday at Oakland Grove Home where she had resided for the past 10 years. She was the wife of the late Maxime Toupin.
Born in Saybec, P.Q., Canada, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Roseanna (Imbeault) Masson. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Toupin worked for the Verdun Company and several other mills in the area for many years before retiring in 1965.
Mrs. Toupin was active with various charities and organizations over the years. She enjoyed bowling and participated in several seniors clubs in the city.
She is survived by a son, Larry D. Toupin, of Cumberland, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Ernest Masson, Alfred Masson, Joseph Mason, Clif Mason, Henri Mason, Victor Mason, Fernand Mason, Omer Masson, Charles Masson, Alice Picard, Annie Senecal, Rose Toupin, and Rita Gagnon.
Her funeral service will be Friday at 10:00 am in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday from 9-10 am prior to services. Visit www.fournierandfournier.com for guestbook and directions.
