Helen Costello Ellison born 1917 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, daughter of Edna Halloran and William H. Costello passed away on January 20, 2007.
She was predeceased in 1969 by her husband Edward W. Ellison, Vice President of The Aetna Casualty Surety Co.
She lived in New Canaan, CT for 22 years before moving to Groton Long Point in 1979. There, she deeply appreciated and enjoyed the community, friendships and beauty of this special place.
She is survived by her daughters Deann E. Murphy of New Rochelle, NY and Groton Long Point, Carol E. Garey of Marion and Chatham, MA, and Sharon E. Johnson of New Canaan, CT. and by 5 Grandchildren, and 12 Great Grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10am Saturday, January 27th at The Chapel of Our Lady of the Assumption
at St. Edmund’s ,Enders Island, Mystic.
