Damiano Antetomaso, 75, of Somerville, died Saturday at the Somerville Hospital after a brief illness.
Born and raised in Gaeta, Italy, he was the son of the late Cosmo and the late Francesca Antonia (Camelio) Antetomaso.
He came to America as a young man and settled in Somerville Damiano worked as a laborer in the construction industry for many years and was a member of local 151. He was also a member of the Cambridge Council Knights of Columbus.
Beloved husband of Carmina (Vaudo). Devoted father of Damian Antetomaso of Somerville. Loving grandfather of Damian James Antetomaso. Brother of Nicholas Antetomaso of France and Elisa D’Andrea of Italy. Also survived by many brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 45 Alewife Brook Pkwy., Cambridge, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
