Robert J. Kelley, 58, of Hyde Park formerly of Dedham, died January 14, 2007 at his home in Hyde Park. He was the beloved husband of Nancy C. (Erickson) Kelley.
Mr. Kelley was born in Cambridge in 1948 and was the son of the late Francis and Ruth (Bellew) Kelley and stepson of the late Joseph Sullivan. A former Dedham resident, he has lived in Hyde Park for 23 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army and a retired employee of Verizon.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert J. Kelley Jr., of Hyde Park and a daughter, Elizabeth A. Kelley of Hyde Park. He was also the brother of Timothy Kelley of San Francisco, CA, Janice O’Kelley of Minturn, CO, William Kelley of North Dighton and the late Rosemary Sullivan.
His funeral will be held from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Thursday at 10:00 AM with a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be on Wed. from 4-8 PM. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., # 5, Boston, MA 02210.
