Obituary

FRANKLIN: Mrs. Satnek “Sadie” (Chinosian) Kupjian 102 formerly of Franklin, died Saturday, January 13, 2007 at the Park Avenue Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Arlington, following a long illness. She was the Wife of the late Misak Kupjian who died in 1955.

Born in Turkey, May 8, 1904, she was educated in Turkey and came to the United States in 1927. She lived in Franklin over 40 years before moving to Arlington.

She was a retired stitcher for the former Commonwealth Clothing Co. of Boston.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Cambridge, The Franklin Senior Citizens, The American Assoc. of Retired Persons, and was a survivor of the Armenian genocide of 1915.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Rose Torosian and her husband George of Palm Coast, Florida, Lillian Matthews of Norfolk, Virginia, Marilyn Kashmanian and her husband Gregory of Naples, Florida, a daughter-in-law Mary Kupjian of Winchester, 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was also the mother of the late John Kupjian.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Wednesday at 12 Noon in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage Street, www.franklinfuneral.com . Interment is private.

Calling hours are Wednesday from 11 AM to 12 Noon.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory sent to the American Heart Assoc.
