Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass St. Michael’s Church, Avon at 10 AM. Burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

Mrs. Mottau died Sunday morning in the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton after a brief illness.She was born in Boston daughter of the late Edward J. and Mary (Delaney) O’Rourke and has resided in Avon for the past 61 years. She was a graduate of Catholic Schools and attended Boston University.
She had been employed as a medical secretary and also a real estate broker.Mrs. Mottau and her late husband Edward were active members of St. Michael’s parish and Catholic Charities. She was a Eucharistic Minister and teacher of religious education and also a member and past president of the Ladies Sodality.
She is survived by her daughter and four sons as above17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great greatgrandchildrenmany nieces and nephewsShe was the eldest of three sisters the late Marie Mooney, Helen Kennedy and Marguerite Bullock
