Dolores B. Eidson, 71, of Ocilla, died Friday, January 12, at her residence.
Funeral Services will be 2 PM Monday at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla with the Rev. George Paulk and Rev. Terance Stonecypher officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation 7 to 9 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Eidson was born April 1, 1935, in Berrien County, Georgia to the late Harvey and Maxie Brogdon Nolan. She had lived most of her life in Irwin County. She retired from the Irwin County Board of Education after more than 18 years a Paraprofessional having worked with the Kindergarten and Migrant programs. She had attended Ben Hill-Irwin Tech and was a member of the River Bend Baptist Church and was former member of Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Eidson is survived by her husband: Leroy S. Eidson, Ocilla;, a daughter: Teresa B. Jordan, Ocilla; Son: Buck (Sandra) Leslie, Ocilla and Step Son: Bruce (Linda) Eidson, Fitzgerald; Grandchildren: Mike (Kristal) Fuhrman, Clair Jordan, Laura Eidson, Brittney Eidson, Michelle (Kelly) Apperson; great grandchildren: Skyler Fuhrman and Ethan Apperson; Sister: Jean (Joe) Courson, Tifton. Mrs. Eidson was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Barfield.
