Obituary

James A. Tantillo, 74 years, died Thursday at the Brockton Hospital unexpectedly. He was born in Quincy, the son of the late Anthony and Delia Tantillo. He has been a resident of Brockton for the past 47 years. He proudly served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He had been a painter for a total of 50 years and for the last 25 for the J.F. Perry Company in Wellesley, retiring in the late 1990’s.
James has been described by his family as a sweet, loving, hard working gentleman who always made you feel welcome. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and most of all spending time with his family and his dog Mollie.

He is survived by his wife Marion C. (Grant) Tantillo, his children Scott Tantillo of E. Taunton, Todd Tantillo of Brockton, Sandra McPeeks of Georgia, Donna Dupras of W. Bridgewater and Gary Ostroski of Braintree, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a sister Angelina Tantillo and a brother Joseph Tantillo both of Quincy.

A Family Memorial Service was handled by the Conley Funeral and Cremation Service.
