Joanne E. Noble, 50, of Dartmouth died January 9, 2007 after a brief illness.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Elizabeth M. (Sherman) Noble of Dartmouth and the late Roy Noble, Jr., she lived in Dartmouth all of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
Joanne was employed by Southeast Residential Service for many years. Joanne enjoyed working with the people that she assisted. Prior to that she worked at Paul A. Dever Center, Harbor Inc., and Crystal Springs School.
Joanne always put others first. She enjoyed taking care of her family, spending time with friends and family, the outdoors, walking, vacationing and winning at bingo. She did volunteer work for various groups and charities. Joanne will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was a graduate of Bishop Stang High School and University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where she was on the Dean's list.
Survivors include her mother; a sister, Mary R. Noble of Dartmouth; two brothers, Roy Noble, III and Philip Noble, both of Dartmouth; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was the godmother of the late Michael Gousse.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Saturday, January 13th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, Dartmouth at 10 AM. Burial will follow in South Dartmouth Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday, January 12th from 4-8 PM.
