N. OXFORD-Mary R. (Philbin) O’Connor, 93, formerly of Clinton and N. Oxford passed away peacefully Monday, January 8th at Sunbridge Nursing Home in Oxford.
Her husband Patrick F. O’Connor died in 1986. She leaves her only son, John J. O’Connor and his wife Kathleen M. O’Connor of N. Oxford, three grandchildren, John J. O’Connor, Jr. of N. Oxford, Suzanne Bourque of Rochdale and David O’Connor of Dudley. She also leaves three great grandchildren, Michael Gallo, Adrianna Bourque and Jonathan O’Connor and many nieces and nephews. A granddaughter, Kerri Ann O’Connor, her sister, Agnes Philbin and a brother, Howard Philbin predeceased her.
She was born November 26, 1913 daughter of the late Patrick J. and Hanna (Kittredge) Philbin. She was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School and worked at Colonial Press in Clinton. She also worked as a bookkeeper for her husband Patrick F. O’Connor’s Paving Company for many years. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
