Salvatore T. Vinci age 70 of Windham, NH, died Monday at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH.
He was born in the West End of Boston, where he grew up and attended schools. He later graduated from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree. He was a resident of Windham for the past 27 years, formerly of Rhode Island.
Mr. Vinci was a retired MDC Officer for the State of Massachusetts, and served on the Charles River Lower Basin. After his retirement, he became a Federal Court Officer and also owned and operated Fit as a Fiddle Restaurant in the old Methuen Mall. He was a US Army veteran, serving during the Korean War as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. He enjoyed music, gardening, traveling, and was an avid Red Sox and Patriot fan. Most of all he loved and enjoyed being with his family.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 12 at 10 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Cemetery on the Plain, Windham.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, Jan 11 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
