Carol A. “Sam” Newcomb, 62, of Englewood, FL died January 7, 2007 at CRVNA Hospice House in Concord, NH after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester, NH on January 16, 1944, she was the daughter of Darwin and Mildred (Johnson) Lagerquist. She lived her life in Manchester and Goffstown, NH and Englewood, FL.
Mrs. Newcomb worked at Sanders BAE in New Hampshire for many years. She was a member of the Grove City Civic Association in Florida.
The family includes her husband of 18 years, Kenneth E. Newcomb of Englewood, FL; two daughters, Dawn Mahoney Rice of Manchester, NH and Kristin Prince of Bedford, NH; two step children, Jeff Newcomb of East Andover, NH and Lori John of Penacook, NH; five grandchildren; her mother, Mildred J. Bristol of Manchester, NH; a sister, Susan Smith of Nobleboro, ME and cousins, nieces and nephews.
