Juliette M. Ouellette, 86, of Kennedy Manor in Woonsocket, died Friday as she was being transferred from her home to the hospice suite at Saint Antoine Residence . She was the widow of Wildor A. “Jeff” Ouellette who died in Woonsocket in 1987.
Born October 31, 1920, in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Philibert and Blanche (Lemay) Crepeau, Ms. Ouellette lived in Meriden, Connecticut before returning to Woonsocket more than twenty years ago. In Connecticut, she worked for the International Silver Company. A very smart and proud woman, Ms. Ouellette was always wonderfully dressed. She was quick with her smile and laugh and remarkably able to bring out smiles and laughs in others.
Juliette Ouellette was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Crepeau; and is survived by a sister, Constance Pelletier of Woonsocket, and a brother, Robert Crepeau who resides in Florida. Juliette is also survived by two children who feel they have been deeply loved by her. Suzanne lives in New York City with her husband, David Conte and Robert lives in Johnstown, Ohio with his wife, Robin, and daughters, Julie and Brittany, for whom Juliette was a loving grandmother.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. with a Mass of Christine Burial at 10:30 in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Bapitste Cemetery in Bellingham MA. Visiting hours are Tuesday 9-10 am.
