
Alfred C. Perrotti, 78 of Medford formerly of the North End of Boston died Wednesday after a brief illness in the Melrose/Wakefield Hospital Melrose.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Susan (Carso) Perrotti.
Mr. Perrotti was a manager at the former Halls Motor in Billerica for 25 years and retired in 1986. Alfred served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945 in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe. He was decorated with the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, and the European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon.
He was a member of the Medford VFW Post 1012 and Local 25.
Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (DeNapoli). Devoted father of Carol O'Brien and her husband Ross, Brenda Spezzaferri and her husband Richard, Barbara Cirelli and her husband John all of Medford, Karen Reed and her husband Bob of Stoneham, Diane Caruso and her husband Frank of Lynnfield. Loving grandfather of Nicole, David, Robert, Lauren, Eric, Matthew, Jenifer, Jared, Kristina, Jessica and Michael. Brother of Florence Manzelli of Melrose, and Anna Giacalone of Medford.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
