Phyllis F. Avallone, 87 of Medford formerly of the North End of Boston died Wednesday after a brief illness in the Massachusetts General Hospital Boston, MA.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Annita (Pagliuca) Forcellati.
Phyllis was a Cashier, at the former Hobbs Jr. High School in Medford for many years and retired in 1985.
Beloved wife of the late Anthony M. Avallone. Devoted mother of Robert M. Avallone and his wife Jan of Lexington, Richard J. Avallone of Woburn. Loving grandmother of Michael L. Avallone. Sister of Sophie Mary Santoro of Medford, Guy Forcellati of Boston, and the late John Forcellati.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 514 High St., Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
