Obituary

James P. Nolan, 68, of Londonderry, NH, died Saturday, December 30, 2006 in his home. Mr. Nolan was born in Boston, MA on May 2, 1938, a son of the late Ambrose and Dorothy (Leache) Nolan. He was a resident of Londonderry since 1979, formerly living in Burlington, MA. He was employed as head of maintenance for Local 11 IATSE at the Wang Center in Boston for 20 years, retiring in 2000. Mr. Nolan had been a member of the Army reserves. He loved woodworking, playing golf and going lobstering.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra J. (Lowre) Nolan of Londonderry; three sons, David Nolan of Attleboro, MA, Kenneth Nolan of Londonderry, and Gregory Nolan of Litchfield, NH; one daughter, Patricia Presta of Antioch, CA; eight grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence Nolan of Hingham, MA; two sisters, Margaret Baressi of Foxboro, MA, and Phyllis Schuerch of Gales Ferry, CT; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Tuesday, January 2nd from 4 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
