Ryan P. Nolan, 22, of Mattapoisett, died December 29, 2006, unexpectedly at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida from injuries he sustained after being struck on foot by a passing motorist.
Born in Providence, RI, the son of Gina M. (Minincleri) Nolan of Mattapoisett and Donald O. Nolan, and his wife Hildy, of Fairhaven, he lived in Mattapoisett and Fairhaven all of his life.
He was a student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and was to graduate in May 2007 with a degree in marketing.
Ryan was a very friendly, loving person who touched many lives, both young and old. An avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan, he also loved the beach and riding his waverunner.
Survivors include his parents; his sister, Marissa Nolan of Assonet, to whom he was a devoted, loving brother; his step-sister, Keri King of Providence; his grandparents, George and Rita Nolan of Cape Canaveral, FL; several cousins, aunts and uncles.
Ryan was also the grandson of the late Philip and Emily Minincleri.
His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 5th at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Thursday, January 4th from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to either the Institute for Developmental Disabilities, Inc. (IDDI), 38 Narrows Road, Assonet, MA 02702 or to the Schwartz Center for Children, One Posa Place, Dartmouth, MA 02747, for the love of his sister, Marissa.
