Obituary

PELHAM, NH - Walter M. Koza, 75, a resident of Pelham, NH, and former
longtime Lowell resident, died after a brief illness Wednesday December
27th in Lowell General Hospital.

He was born in Lowell on September 3, 1931, a son of the late Frank and
Waleria (Grzesik) Koza. He was a graduate of Lowell High School class of
1948 and completed his undergraduate studies as well as receiving a
Master's degree from the former Lowell Technological College.

Mr. Koza served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed for his entire career as a
textile technologist at the U.S. Army Laboratories in Natick.

In his free time he loved spending time with animals and he was an avid
horse racing enthusiast.

He is survived by his sister Helen Koza, of Pelham, NH, with whom he
resided; a brother Edward Koza of Dover, NH; a sister-in-law Jane Koza of
Beverly, MA; his nieces and nephews John Koza and his wife Janet of
Beverly, David Koza and his wife Amy of New York City, NY, Karen Koza of
Dover, NH, Karl Koza of Bellingham, and Gail Mahan of Dover, NH; and
several great nieces and great nephews.

He was also the brother of the late Stanley Koza.

Friends may call at
the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Friday from
9:30 until 10:30 am followed by his Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11am
at St. Casimir Church, Lowell. Interment in St. Casimir Cemetery,
Pelham, NH.
