WORCESTER__ Marianna (Macko) Piascik, 90, of Worcester passed away at her home, Tuesday, December 26. Her husband, Jan Piascik died in December 29, 2005. She is survived by two sons, Bernard J. Piascik of Worcester, Richard Piascik of Seminole, FL; two daughters, Elizabeth wife of Zdzislaw Janeczak of Sutton and Julie A. Parzych of Millbury; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by four sisters and one brother and a grandson, Derek Janeczak.
Mrs. Piascik was born in Nowogrod, Poland, the daughter of Jozef and Waleria (Kaczynski) Macko and moved to Worcester in 1963. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 30, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Friday, December 29, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
