Albano-Albert of Boulder, CO formerly of Boca Raton, FL and Somerville, MA passed away on December 21st, 2006 at the Manor Care Nursing Home in Boulder, CO. He was 88. Albert was the beloved husband of the late Helen (Flynn) Albano; the father of Deborah Longdin and her husband Paul of Trumbull, CT, Albert Albano and his wife Robin of Longmont, CO, Daniel Albano of Westford and Mary Weisse and her husband Ken of Londonderry, NH; the grandfather of Deborah, Jennifer, Jared, Kenneth, Andrew, Carl, Michael and the late Kate and the great grandfather of Gavin. He was the brother of Arthur Albano of California and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Al lived in Somerville, MA for most of his life. He worked for the National Radio Company in Malden, MA for 35 years and then moved on to work for the Temple Shalom in Medford, MA. He was a World War II Airforce Veteran and a former member of the Holy Name Society at St. Polycarps Church in Somerville, MA . Funeral Services are from the A.J. Breslin & Son Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Saturday Dec. 30th, 2006 at 8:15 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church in Malden at 9 AM. Relatives & friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday Dec. 29, 2006 from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden, MA.
