Mr. Frank J. Tusa Sr., age 79, of Malden formerly of Medford, died December 22nd following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Alba (Spezzafero) Tusa. Born in Boston he was the son of the late Joseph and Dora (Fusco) Tusa.
Mr. Tusa was a retired tile setter and worked in the construction industry for many years. He worked for many years with the Matera Tile Co. and was a member of the Bricklayers and Stone Masons Union Local 3. Mr. Tusa was also a United States Army Veteran of WWII. Mostly devoted to his family, Mr. Tusa enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed occasional trips to the casino.

In addition to his beloved wife Alba, He is survived by his children, Joseph of Medford, Frank of Peabody, Paul and his wife Mary of North Andover and Pamela Tusa of Peabody. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Joey and Ashley Tusa, Paul Jr., Katie and Nicholas Tusa, Peter and Paige Means. He is further survived by his sisters, Linda Beaton of Tewksbury and Beatrice Otero of NH.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.
