Brother of Louis Vento, Josie Danielle and the late Ann, Lillian, Frances, Margaret, Michael and Anthony. Cherished grandfather of Lisa Smallwood and her husband Patrick of Saugus, Joanne Vasquez and her husband Santiago of Chelsea and Michael Morabito of Saugus. Loving great grandfather of Christina, Christopher and Ryan. Lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Thursday morning, December 28th at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Rose Church, 601 Broadway, CHELSEA at 11 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Born in the North End of Boston in the family home on North Street and raised in the West End, John at 90 years of age passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital unexpectedly after a short illness.
