Agnes L. Anderson, 93 of Franklin, died December 17 in the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge. Born in Cambridge, September 2, 1913, the daughter of the late Axel and Clara (Verlund) Anderson, Miss Anderson had lived in Franklin since she was 19.
She was a graduate of the Moody Bible School and Barrington College. Miss Anderson taught piano at Barrington College for several years and then returned to Franklin where she privately taught piano lessons from her home for many years. She had also been the organist and pianist at several local churches for many years.
Miss Anderson loved music, traveling and gardening.
Sister of the late Vernon Anderson, she is survived by her niece, Karen Anderson of Wrentham and nephew, David Anderson of Whitinsville.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 20 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main St. Franklin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Union Street Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
