Joan E. (Goodwin) Karuzis-70, of Berlin, MA died Thursday, December 14, 2006, at Autumn Village Nursing Home in Worcester.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years; Thomas S. Karuzis of Berlin.
Born in Lynn, MA, she was the daughter of the late Orin and Mary (Wingate) Goodwin.
She was a graduate of Lynn Classical H.S. in Lynn.
She was a former resident of Jamaica Plain in Boston before moving to Berlin ten years ago.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her two daughters; Karen Friedman and her husband Jeff of Princeton, MA, Robin Ballard and her husband David of Berlin, MA, her son; Mark Karuzis and his wife Wendy of Shirley, MA. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, December 17, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. A prayer service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
