Dorothy Lila "B" Jackson, age 86, died on Friday, November 23, 2001 at the Winchester Nursing Home. She was born on May 07, 1915 in Martins Point, Canada, to the late Purdy L. and Susie E. (Shupe) Baker.
She was a resident of Reading formerly of Medford and a communicant of the First Baptist Church in Medford.
Dorothy was past president of the Medford Womens Club as well as the Reading Womens Club.
She was also involved with the Massachusetts Federation of Womens Clubs and the Cofran Circle Club.
She married Audraye H. Jackson on November 09, 1940 in Medford.
Dorothy graduated Medford High School, Class of 1933.
She was active in the Friends of Lawrence Memorial Hospital and the Meals on Wheels program of Medford.
Her funeral service will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Tuesday at 10:00 AM.
Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 4 to 9 PM. Interment, Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, W. Peabody.
