Catherine A. (MacIsaac) Voss, beloved wife of Francis J. Voss died at her home, surrounded by her loving family, Friday December 15, 2006. She was 95 years old. Born in Everett, Massachusetts, on October 24, 1911, she was a loving daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret (MacDonald) MacIsaac. She was a resident of Medford for more than 80 years and was also an active member of St. Joseph Parish. She married her beloved husband, Francis, on October 13, 1941, in St. Joseph Parish. Catherine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, caring for her home and family her entire life.
Besides her loving husband, Francis, she will be sorely missed by one son and one daughter-in-law; Francis J. and his wife Barbara S. Voss, Jr. of Andover, two daughters and two sons-in-law; June A. and her husband Arthur F. St. Andre of Southborough and Margaret E. and her husband Arthur F. Brennan of Medford, four grandchildren; Nicole, Marc, Eric and Andrew, one brother; Hugh J. MacIsaac of Medford and many nieces and nephews. Catherine was also the sister of the late Harold and Allan MacIsaac and Marion Fitzmaurice.
Her funeral was from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Monday, December 18, 2006, at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Many relatives and friends attended. Visiting hours were Sunday, December 17, 2006, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
