William E. O’Brien age 60 of Windham, NH, died Friday at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH.
He was born in East Boston, MA, where he grew up, he later graduated from Charlestown High School in 1964, the went to college at Franklin Institute, and graduated with a bachelors degree from NH College as a Master Electrician.
He was a resident of Windham for the past 31 years, formerly of Peabody, MA.
Mr. O’Brien owned and operated B & J Electric Inc. in Pelham, NH. He was a member of St. Matthew Church in Windham, and a member of the VFW Post 8546 in Salem, NH, and a member of the Ancient & Honorable Artillery Company in Boston, MA.
Bill proudly served his country as a Seabee for the MCB 12 (Mobile Construction Battalion) in the US Navy, and served 2 tours in Vietnam.
He was predeceased by his parents: Herbert J. & Ruth (Treiber) O’Brien
He is survived by his wife Marilyn Jo (MacKenzie) O’Brien of Windham, NH

1 Son: Patrick William O’Brien of Windham
1 Sister: Judith (O’Brien) Drago of Salem, NH
He will also be missed by several sisters in laws and brothers in laws and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 10 Am at St. Matthew Church, Windham, NH. Burial will follow in cemetery on the Plain, Windham.
Calling hours will be held Monday, Dec. 18 from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
