Don G. Terrio, 74, of Circle Dr., Hudson, NH died Tuesday, October 1, 2002, at his home following a brief illness. He was born in Stacyville, Maine on January 3, 1928, a son of the late Don G. and Lillian (Perry) Terrio. He was a resident of Hudson for the past 18 years, formerly living in Nashua, NH. He was a US Navy and Air Force veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Terrio retired from the US Air Force in 1969 as a Tech Sergeant. Mr. Terrio was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #1617 in Derry, NH.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian F. (Powers) Terrio of Hudson, five sons, Wayne Terrio of Hudson, William Terrio of Nashua, Gary Terrio of Center Barnstead, NH, Roger Bosse, Michael Bosse, both of Londonderry, NH, five daughters, Donna Terrio of Hampton, NH, Annette Kenerley of Derry, Cheryl Doran of Milford, NH, Melissa Gurley of Derry, Michele Green of Loudon, NH, 17 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one brother, Lawrence “Tappy” Terrio of Sherman Station, Maine, his previous wife, Margaret Hickey of Fla., several nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. “Beloved husband, dedicated father, a true patriot, you enriched the lives of all who knew you, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, SLEEP WELL…..”
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4th at 10:00 at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 2:00 at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Rt. 3, Boscawen, NH. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening, October 3rd from 7 – 9.
