Middletown, RI - Dorothy L. (Chateaunuef) Tripp-Rogers, 91, of Middletown, RI passed away Sunday, December 10, 2006 at Forest Farm Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Carleton W. Tripp and Joseph Rogers.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Helmery and Bertha (Kelly) Chateaunuef, she had resided in Middletown for several years. Mrs. Tripp-Rogers was a former member of the Dartmouth Grange and was an avid gardener.
She is survived by a son: David W. Tripp of Palermo, ME; 2 daughters: June E. Buckley of Marlborough, CT and Sally Westmoreland of Tiverton, RI; a sister: Lois Maltz of FL; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the grandmother of the late Arnold R. Buckley, Jr. and sister of the late Raymond Chateaunuef, Viola Hebert and Ruth Wood.
