Catherine R. (Collins) Kearns of Stoneham passed away Saturday, December 9, 2006 at her home. She was 77 years of age.
Born in Brighton, she was the daughter of the late James P. and Rose (Sullivan) Collins. Catherine was a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother grandmother and friend. Her family was first and foremost in her life. She will be missed by all.
Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Kearns. She was the devoted mother of Edward J. Kearns of North Carolina, Maureen Kearns of Boston, Kathleen Horgan of Middleton, Eileen Faro of Florida, Sandy Kearns of Woburn, Coleen Kearns of New Hampshire, Christine McCarty of Connecticut, Patricia Guay of Concord, and Michael Kearns of Pennsylvania. She was the cherished grandmother of 18 and great grandmother of 9. She was the dear sister of the late James P. Collins Jr.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. STONEHAM Wednesday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Catherine’ life in St. Patrick’s Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-7 pm. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Stoneham.
