Robert had a great sense of humor. During his years in the United States Marine Corp, he was a SGT and head crew member of the helicopter squad. For the last 25 years, Robert has been helping others who were less fortunate then himself. His family decribes him as "... the anchor of our family." Robert has worked for Sears for more than 20 years. He was still working and had yet to retire. Robert also attended Quincy Jr. College. Robert entered the United States Marine Corp. back in 1965 and was honorably discharged back in Oct. 1971. He worked with the late Boston Bruins trainor John "Frosty" Foristal . It wasn't unusual for the older Bruins players such as Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito , Derek Sanderson to visit at his home. During the 70's Robert was in charge of a hockey camp in Orelia, Canada.
