Norton E. Kelley, 78, of Chester Road, Derry, NH died Sunday September 29, 2002 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH following a brief illness. He was born in Sandown, NH on March 10, 1924, a son of the late Ralph and Barbara (Hathaway) Kelley. He was a resident of Derry for many years, formerly living in Sandown. He was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry, Class of 1943 and later graduated from NY Institute of Photography. He was employed by the Union Leader as a darkroom technician, retiring in 1986. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking. As an avid woodworker, he enjoyed making furniture.
He is survived by his wife, Ann (Holland) Kelley, Derry, two sons, Warren Kelley, Manchester, NH, James Kelley, Sandown, three daughters, Holly Guyette, Raymond, NH, Colleen Ladew, Derry, Mary Kelley, Plaistow, NH, nine grandchildren, one sister Gladys Murphy, Loudon, NH, and one nephew.
Calling hours will be held Thursday October 3rd from 5 – 8 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry with cremation following.
