PELHAM, NH - Mary-Etta (English) Theriault, age 47, an executive for Old Mother Hubbard pet
food company, died unexpectedly Friday night, Dec. 1, at the Lowell General Hospital, from
complications to surgery performed last week. She was the wife of Paul Theriault, with whom
she had celebrated a 23rd wedding anniversary, this past July 2nd.
She was born in Boston, Nov. 8, 1959, a daughter of Charles English of Tewksbury and the late
Dorothy (Pefine) English. She was raised in Tewksbury, and attended Shawsheen Valley
Technical High School in Billerica. She later attended the University of Lowell. She had resided
in Pelham for the past 10 years.
She had worked for Old Mother Hubbard pet food company in Lowell for twenty three years, and
had risen to the sales and supply chain administrator for the company.
She was described by her family as having devoted her life to her family and her job.
Besides her husband and father, she is survived by her step-mother, Theresa (Gagnon-Cadiero)
English of Tewksbury; three brothers, Charles English of Tewksbury, Lou English and his wife
Linda (Pucci) of Farmington, NH, Edward English and his wife Rosemary (Duggan) of Salem,
NH; step sisters Karen Cadiero Kaplan of Calif., Sharon Quebec of Leominster; step-brother
Stephen Cadiero of Calif.; a brother-in-law George Theriault and his wife Theresa of Manchester, NH;
several aunts and uncles; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends at Old Mother
Hubbard.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 6, in St. Dorothy’s Church,
Wilmington. Burial was in Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to MSPCA at Nevins Farm,
400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844 will be appreciated.
