Frank H. Jordan, 88, of Fitzgerald died Wednesday, November 29 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Saturday, December 2, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Pastor John Weaver and Pastor Melvin Stringer officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Cemetery in Wilcox County. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Jordan was born December 29, 1917, in Ben Hill County to the late Harvey H. and Polly Hobby Jordan. He was a retired machine press operator for General Motors Company and retired in 1976 from the General Motors Plant in Toledo, Ohio. After his retirement he moved to Pineview and then to Fitzgerald in 1996. Mr. Jordan was a member of Pine Level United Methodist Church and he was in the C.C.C.
Mr. Jordan is survived by three sisters: Ethel Jewell Weaver and Pearl McGee, both of Fitzgerald and Gussie Abrams Hill of St. Petersburg, FL along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Palmer “Pam” Dennard Jordan.
