Barbara Eileen Kiss-Johnson, beloved gentle soul who journeyed on from this plane on Thursday 26th September.
Her memory is held deep within by her husband, Kenneth and her children Patrick, Adrian, and Katie, her father Martin Kiss, sister and brother Elizabeth Little-Kiss and Martin Kiss Jr. and finally her long-time best friend and mother-in-law Grace Johnson.
Her feet touched many places land and sea, her arms outstretched to embrace all of the many vocations she held through her life, and none of her kind service caused any strife.
She filled her sails on the sea and filled her gardens for every bee.
At sanctuary she balanced her soul and at social work helped mend every hole.
It is now difficult to let her go, so come and share with us, care with us and celebrate the life she led.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Noank Baptist Church on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
Her service will be conducted in the garden she loved at the family home at 2 Haley Farm Road, Noank, on Monday at 1:30pm. Burial will be in Noank Valley Cemetery followed by a reception at the Noank Baptist Church. In case of inclement weather, the service will be conducted at The Noank Baptist Church.

The family has chosen The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic, to assis them with the arrangements.
