Obituary

DUDLEY – Louis E. Kozlowski, 79, of 50 West Main Street, died Wednesday, November 22, in UMass Memorial Hospital, Worcester, after a brief illness.

He leaves his wife of 52 years, Theresa J. (Tokarz) Kozlowski; a son, Andrew J. and his wife Barbara M. Kozlowski of Dudley; a daughter, Mary T. and her husband Peter G. Gould; 2 granddaughters, Kathryn and Amelia Gould all of Mendon; a niece and a nephew and 3 grand nephews.

He was born in Webster, the son of Louis A. and Veronica H. (Kokocinski) Kozlowski, and lived in the Webster Dudley area all his life. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1946.

He was an U. S. Army veteran and served in the occupation of Japan.

Mr. Kozlowski was a carpenter with Edward S. Gates, General Contractors before retiring as maintenance supervisor at Anglo Fabrics. He enjoyed woodcarving, creating many waterfowl decoys.

He was an active member of Saint Andrew Bobola Church.

The funeral, with military honors, will be held Saturday, November 25, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours are from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, November 24, in the funeral home. The family requests donations be made to the Saint Andrew Bobola Elevator Fund, 54 West Main St., PO Box 98, Dudley, MA 01571-0098.
