Methuen, MA – Helen C. “Elena” (Vallante) Tardugno, 89, died Sunday November 19, 2006 at the Nevins Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre.
Born in Lawrence Mrs. Tardugno was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She had been employed with Western Electric, ITT, and Unitrode where she retired in 1976 as an Electronics Inspector.
According to her children Helen was a real homebody, a great mom and grandmother who was an accomplished seamstress.
A resident of Methuen since 1962 Helen was the widow of George M. Tardugno, Sr.
Survivor’s include son’s George M. Jr. & wife Sandi Tardugno of Florida, Robert A. & wife Charlotte Tardugno of Andover, and daughter Marilyn M. Tardugno of Methuen, one brother Thomas Vallante of Lawrence, and one sister Louise Grasso, grandchildren Elizabeth & Charles Tardugno and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock from the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery
Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 P.M. & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
