Ruth M. (Hale) Martin, age 71, died Tuesday at her home in Derry, NH. She had just moved to Derry in July of this year. She had lived in Florida for the past 15 years.
She was born in Lawrence, MA where she grew up and attended school, graduating from St. Mary’s High School in 1950. Mrs. Martin was a nurse’s aide at Bon Secour Hospital in Methuen, MA.
She is the widow of Albert G. Martin, who died in November 2001.

3 Daughters: Rosemarie Martin of Goffstown, NH Ruth Ann Kirkhuff and husband Michael of Derry, NH Leslie Wheeler and husband Allan of Plaistow, NH
Brother: Edward Hale of Tarpon Springs, FL
14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews
There are no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Transfiguration in Derry. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
