Born and raised in Revere and resident of Chelsea since she was 21 years old, Virginia, at 73 years of age, passed away at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after a short illness.
Though she worked her whole career working as a clerk and in sales for stamp companies, including Tabor and Spencer Rubber Stamp Companies, it was in 1993, on her 60th birthday that she opened her own, Bloss Rubber Stamp Comapny on Canal Street in Boston which operated until 2003.
