Mrs. Vera Katherine Keel age 81, of Water Valley, MS died Monday, November 13, 2006 in the Tupelo Hospital, Tupelo, MS. She was a member of Sand Hill Church.
Visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2006. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks under the direction of Rev. Virgel Nelson, Jr. Interment will follow in Keel Cemetery in Lafayette County.
Mrs. Keel is survived by her daughter Barbara Ann Raley of Water Valley, MS, four sons, Charles Arnold Keel, James Virgel Keel, John Russell Keel and Billy Wayne Keel all of Water Valley, MS, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Preceding Mrs. Keel in death in addition to her parents was her husband, Charles Arnold Keel (Oct. 17, 1982); sister, Mary Vivian Simpson; brothers, Claude Raley and Raymond Raley.
