Worcester-Bertelle M (Waters) Kulakusky 84 of 34 Puritan Avenue died September 22 in The Hospice Residence 10 Judith Road.
Her husband Anthony J Kulakusky Sr. died in 1965. She is survived by a son Anthony J Kulakusky Jr. of Oxford, two daughters Karen M Fields of Worcester and Robin F Ahlstrom-Rockel of Petersham. One brother Leroy J Waters Jr. of Jupiter Florida and Oxford Mass. Two sisters Amy Grampetro of Oxford and Ina Desrosiers of Worcester. Four grandchildren nieces and nephews. Two brothers and three sisters predeceased her.She was born in Bellows Falls Vermont a daughter of Leroy J and Elizabeth (Evans) Waters. She lived in New Hampshire before moving to Worcester in 1930. She was educated in Vermont Schools. Mrs. Kulakusky worked for thirty five years in the Quality Assurance Department of Presmet Corp before retiring in 1994.
Mrs. Kulakusky was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.Following cremation a committal service will be held at 11:30 Friday in the Chapel of Notre Dame Mausoleum.There are no calling hours.The family requests that flowers be omitted and that donations be made instead to either The Mass. Association For The Blind 51 Harvard Street Worcester or to VNACare Hospice Program 120 Thomas Street Worcester Mass.The Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home (www.worcesterfuneral.com) 33 Ward Street Worcester is directing arrangements.
